MAINTENANCE

Save on utility bill

Regular maintenance of your HVAC system is essential for maximizing its operational efficiency. By keeping your system in good condition, you can reduce energy consumption and save on your utility bills. Additionally, proper maintenance can extend the lifespan of your air conditioning system, saving you money on potential repairs or replacements in the long run.

Air Filters

Remember to regularly check and replace your air filters to ensure that your HVAC system operates efficiently. A clogged filter can lead to increased energy consumption and higher bills as the system works harder to maintain the desired temperature. A dirty filter can cause the system to overheat and potentially breakdown. A clean air filter allows a better airflow, which not only improves the system efficiency but also reduces allergens in the air, promoting better indoor air quality. This is important because the air quality can have negative effects on your health, exacerbating allergies and respiratory issues.

Maintenance Checklist

  • Check Indoor/Outdoor coil (Clean coils, condensers and evaporated coils)
  • Capacitor
  • Fuses
  • Indoor/Outdoor components
  • Differentiate temperature between return and supply
  • Check drain lines for clogs and leaks on the refrigerant and gas lines
  • Inspect ductwork and vents for any visible signs of air leaks, damage, blockages.
  • Check blower motor
  • Voltage
  • Lubricate motor bearings to prevent wear and tear
  • Check refrigerant charge
  • Clean or replace filters
